Default 2ohm speakers?

Ok so it seems the factory Infinity speakers are 2ohm. OK fine & good but.. has anyone found any 2ohm speakers in 6.5 that don't cost over a hundred bucks a pair?

yes infinity has em @ 150 & up

Jbl has em as well. nice speaks don't get me wrong just spendy.

I just want to be able to turn my stereo on again. all four of mine are blown & a hundred fifty just seems pricey.

Just hoping someone might have some other brand options.

Blown how?

Most are fixable with a $2 tube of rubber cement.

I haven't check prices in a while but you can see if they still carry the Infinity reference series 6022's. They are 2 ohm.

I had looked at the posts regarding repairing the oem ones but the voice coil in at least two are bad. nothing but crackle. plugged in some old speaks to test the channels & they work fine.

I was just hopping someone may have found some less expensive off brand. before realizing the 2ohm thing I had found a set of really decent speakers for about 120 to replace all four. now I find that is going to be half the budget.

I just wasn't looking to dump hundreds into speakers but if thats what it is to have it right thats what it is.

I have found some infinity's for 144 a pair guess I'll be going with those if no one knows of a less spendy brand.

Damn infinity system, thought it was a good thing till this.

This site says the 6022's are 4 ohms. I would contact them to confirm. But most other sites list the 6022i's as 2 ohm speakers.

You can always run higher impedance speakers on low impedance systems. Just not the other way around.

Here is a link for you to be able to buy a pair of 6022i's for $48 a pair. Special price and won't last long, so for less than $100, you can replace all 4 speakers.
