Unhappy need help with dodge durango transmission

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango 4.7 4wheel drive, today when we got in the truck the transmission light came on, when we got going down the interstate it would not get in high gear, running 50 mph the rpms run at 2 usually it runs at 1.5 please need the help. went to advance and the man put his tester and said it was the turbo sensor and i would have to take it to a transmission place cause they would have to put the part on and than re-align the gears...
