Noise/Grinding while driving
99 Durango purchased from dealer brand new...and she's my baby! Last couple of months, noise/grinding heard and felt when making left turns. Noise graduated to driving straight, but no noise when turning right. Replaced left front hub assy yday, and will do the same on right side tmr. Inside left front wheel well, some fluid has been leaking/spraying. Checked P/S fluid, and was empty...so I refilled. Still noisy and gringing. Any suggestions?
having the EXACT same problem on my 2003 durango(turning left only and gradually starting to happen when going straight but right turns are silent), all things are pointing to the front hub assembly, , changing my front hub this weekend will let you know if that takes the grinding away-good luck

I had 175k on my OEM set. The maker of the bearing assembly is Timken with a contract I believe.
As for continuing grinding, I would have gone first to the Wheel Bearing but with that fixed it could be a Axle Shaft Bearing or Differential Bearing, CV shaft, or simply a U-joint.

Yeah...thought it was the left bearing, so replaced it first. Gonna do the right tonight and hope that takes care of that. BUT...also found the PS fluid leak, so also hafta replace hoses.
