indy, i believe the 2wd was an option on all trim lines, i just dont see any around me bc in the winters everybody wants 4wd

From what I remember from selling Chryslers many years ago, the 98s were all 4x4 and then it was an option every year after that.

I can tell you that down here in the south, most Durangos and Grand Cherokees are 2wd. We had about 60-70 Grand Cherokees on the lot at any one time and only 1 or maybe 2 of them were 4x4.

Did you know the Grand Cherokee was offered with a 5 speed manual tranny in 99?

I am pretty sure that in 1999 it was offered and every year after that but I know for a fact that 1998 was not offered in a 2WD.


I believe there was a manual offered in Canadan models in 2002 but can't recall?

Anyway, I think they were offered in all models other than R/T.

Think ill pull the bulb its a lot cheaper then replacing the hvac control unit

LOL. That bulb idea is a great idea on the cheap. kudos!

HS, no manual factory option. Canadians got the DRLs and that was it.

And I too am pretty sure the 2wd was offered on all trim models mine is an SLT
