Default Dodge Durango Shelby S.P. 360 Supercharged

Hello,

I own a 1999 Dodge Durango Shelby S.P. 360 5.9 Kenne Bell Number 094 !
It is mounted with an kenne bell charger.(TS-series D-271-12)
I like to have specs. voor the system.(updates?)
Can you help me get these information (vacuum/electr. wiring diagrams or installation instructions)
At the moment the intake gasket is blown to the inside of the engine.
I think that the vacuum and or the electric is wrong.
There are some picctures from the engine compartment.
I am living in the Netherlands.
I like to here from you soon.

Regards Johan

Are you talking about just for the Super Charger or the rest of the OEM system?

Default Dodge Durango Shelby S.P. 360 Supercharged

The problem with my car is that i don't have software to read my computer from the
supercharger (optimiser?)
The engine is running and I can drive but when the PSI is around 0 it stuttered.
I think it is a software problem.
In Holland no one can help me,I contacted kenne bell but they can't help my with the software!!?!
I like to here from you soon.

After it went to Shelby for the build the system is manipulated over OEM so what we are going to have isn't going to help you very much. We have a service manual for you but that again is OEM. Kenne Bell can't help you because they only made a computer, they did not set the parameters in the software. You must go to the source (Shelby) to get that end fixed. But I wouldn't just go to the computer first, I think I would try a few other steps first.

Could just need a tune up and the Throttle Body cleaned out.

How many miles on her?

I have no super charger experience but I owned modified Twin Turbo Nissan 300ZX's for about 10 years prior to the R/T I have now. Does it boost beyond 0 PSI? And if so does it hesitate? What RPM range is the problem occurring? This can be caused by a number of things. With more info on the problem we can help out, or at least try, to point you in the right direction on fixing this.

Shelby has no hands on it, they just authorized the license of the name after no one wanted it as the super pursuit (thats the main reason why its lacking on hp). PWG (performance west group) was responsible.

The kennebell optimizer is considered trash lately, it was made by a third party which no longer affiliates with kennebell and kenne will act stupid and denounce any relations with the spd360 anytime you call them, not to mention their customer service is a wreck itself. If that is your issue look to changing systems.

Hello,

The car has just 17.000 myles on it ,a have a carfax report with it.
But there was a water-alcohol injection system build in.
It was not working anymore,it was disconnected.
Bejond the 0 PSI it boost.
I think the problem is that the kenne bell computer needs to be updated and does not work good with the original computer from the engine.
The engine runs GOOD but when its around 0 psi the kenne bell computer makes the problem, thats what i think?!
I want to try it with the software, but i don't have software for the kenne bell computer!
