value question
Hi, I'm new and this'll probably be one of my only posts.
I've got a 2000 Durango SLT, with 105,000 miles patriot blue pearl, Infinity sound system, 3rd row seat and leather interior. There's just one problem with it. It needs a new engine and probably some computer work. I don't know how much that'll run me in $$, but I know I don't have enough to cover it (whatever anyone tells you cell phone salesmen don't make a lot of $$). Even though I'd like to just fix my truck, I know I can't afford it and probably won't be able to for quite a while.
My landlord just offered me $3000 for it. I'm pinched for cash so just about any offer sounds good. I'd like an opinion from people who know a little more about the value of these vehicles than I do. Should I take the 3 grand or should I hold out to see if anyone else makes a better offer?
