Ok, do you have any other solutions for this unknown problem I am having? I also had my fuel pressure checked and that is right where it should be. It happens when my truck sits for a few hours and I start it up and go it acts as if there is no "power" getting to the truck then the rpms shoot up and it takes off. When I am idling in either park or drive for a period of time it does that same thing of no "power/gas" getting through. I'm not saying that is the problem but that is the only way I can explain it otherwise.

Just a long shot, did your mechanic check the map sensor? It's about the last piece of sensor surrounding the throttle body. Otherwise, I may be incline to think it may be possibly the PCM acting up.

I'm not to sure how far up he changed the wires, I am really starting to think it burnt all the way up and he fixed what he could see with his eye instead of doing a full check before replacing the O2 sensor.

As for you issue, replace the TPS and reset the PCM: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ine-light.html

Ok seen as you welcome everyone.............it's ok that I scream at the top of my lungs and throw a tantrum like a 2 year old after reading my bank statement and how much has been dumped into a problem that isn't being fixed?

TPS was changed yesterday and no clue about resetting the PCM, you mean by the thing they plug in to diagnose the problems?

Exactly!

This is how you can reset the computer (PCM).

Default Got the problem fixed

and seems that my dumb a%% mechanic didn't ground my wires for the o2 sensor and he blew the fuse for it after $400+ dollars later............ it cost me $97.86 to fix the problem from a REAL dodge mechanic!
