Thumbs up whats up with my engine?

what up guys- so here's whats happening, truck runs great its just when i go from 0-15 (1st gear) it feels like the engine is struggling to get all its horsepower, only in 1st gear, i dont think its the tranny i could be wrong but it shifts great doesnt slip or bang- it just seem like it pulling a train when im in 1st gear and once i hit 2nd i'm off and running- is it the tranny? or what else is causing me to not have that quick burst out of 1st- let me know if anyone else has experienced this- like i said it shifts great and once i hit 2nd gear it seems to have its horsepower back- any suggestions greatly appreciated

is it every time you start off (from a light, stop ect) or just the first time you start the truck in the morning?

Could be a pressure issue. When was the last time you did a trans filter/adjustment/ATF+4 change?

Thats because the clutch pack for 1st gear is chatting and slipping, and once you have upshifted to 2nd or 3rd everything is okay.
