That is a Stock undergard. The exact same as I have on my 2000 5.9. Yes... including the little round 4.7l access door. All of the Ds had it.Originally Posted by thomsonc

I was changing the oil and I saw a bottom plastic cover underneath the engine attached to front lower bumper going back underneath most of the engine. I read some print on it and it said 4.7 l oil filter access. Obviously it was from a 4.7 and a previous owner retrofited that splash guard for the 5.9 and it works and fits really good. I'll have to take some photos of it as I believe it was a clever mod, as it adds plenty of protection underneath of the vehicle. The oil filter access hole doesnt access the oil filter, but if one removes the cover, one can reach a few things nearby.

Not sure if that has something to do with it's lack of power.
An 2001 R/T 5.9L and a 2000 SLT+ 5.9L are the same exact setup for motor and trans and PCM and program. Rear end gears may differ. Any difference is in the rear end and/or maintenance.
The 2000 R/T PCM had a 92 octane only fuel for a hotter program gaining 5HP. That's it. All other years are exact match on motor and trans on ANY 5.9L... be it SLT, SXT, SLT+ or R/T.
