Unhooked battery and rehooked, no stereo/radio/cd player?
Hey all, I have a 2003 4.7 Durango with the chrysler stereo ( Not the infinity ) and today I changed some sensors so I unhooked the battery to avoid shorting anything out during. Started it back up and now theres no radio/cd player/clock etc... I checked Radio 1 and Radio 2 fuses and both were good, and I replaced them anyways with no luck.
Is my stereo fried or something? It was working pretty good this morning.

did you wait for the electrical system to discharge before you did the work? (usually about 30 -60 minutes, or hold the key to start for a minute)
if not you could still have sent a surge through the system which could have done damage.
but more likely is that you have a bad connection somewhere, probably a ground, i would start looking for it.

Problem found, and everyone reading will get a kick out of.
The owner prior to me had kids ( Could tell because of toys, m&ms, oreos, and goldfish ), and one of them must have thought it would have been COOL to put a DIME ( yes, a money dime ), into the CD player! When we removed it and shook it around, we could hear a jingle. We tore it down to find that a dime had touched 2 contacts grounding out the whole power input.
