So I was looking here on the thread and I couldn't quite find my answer. Does anyone know the size of the front sway bar on a 2000 5.9 slt 4x4? I'm looking on this website
http://www.energysuspensionparts.com...D+Durango+2000

and they have 33 and 35mm and idk what I need. Do I need to go measure them and is it diameter or circumference of the bar?

ok, thanks for the input, i just thought of a good way to measure using a c-clamp and ruler and it was exactly 35mm. If only I thought of that the other day. lol.

Speaking of sway bar bushings...my front end squeeks when going over bigger bumps and speed bumps, replaced shocks not that long ago, ball joints are fine. I am sure it is my sway bar bushings...got a 2002 with the 4.7. This is bugging the hell out of me! How hard is it to change out the bushings myself? I am not that mechanically inclined but this is getting embarrassing! Does anyone know where there might be a step by step guide with pics?

The front sway bar bushings are probably physically okay... My front and rears were squeeking pretty bad when I bought the truck. The rears were all crushed and rotten and required replacement. The fronts however, were more or less perfect, and I just greased them. No more noise, months later.

Most likely all you need to do is lubricate them. Look under the trucks front end and you will see a round bar that goes from one side to the other across the frame just in back of the bumper. It will go from the bottom of one control arm to the other control arm.

There will be 4 bushings and you should lubricate them on where the bushing and control arm meet. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...3-durango.html
