Default High Idle on 4.7L

I have an 03 4.7L Durango. The idle is around 1000 in park and about 800 in drive. How do I get it down. I tried removing the battery term. and reseting the computer but, it did not make a differance. Would it be the TPS?

Some say clean the IAC, some say replace it. Some say replace the TPS. Some even say replace the O2's. All say clean the throttle body. I wish you and me good luck.

Sounds like you have a bad IAC. Looks like it is time to replace that.

yup, i would look at the IAC as the culprit, fortunately they are not expensive ($20 i believe last time i had to buy one, might be a little more now)
