Unhappy NEW Headlights... how to... :/

Hey I just bought a new pair of headlights @ http://www.kbcarstuff.com/97-04-DODG...lhdak97abm.htm

The originals are easy to uninstall... but how the hell do I install the new ones?! Can anyone explain me how to install them without breaking anything

Do I need to uninstall the buper or grind something???

Thx,
Steve

No need to remove bumper. Get to the lower side bolt from underneath and to the side to replace it. Easy off, okay on.

EASY OFF... nop rob there!!!

But getting the one piece headlight in is an other.... tried many ways and the prob in the bottom... and all I can think I'm gonna grind that sucker

So what bolt are you talking about?! Is it the one in the corner... the metal bracket that's bolted to te bumper is the one mostly in the way!?

Get on your back under the edge of the front bumper, get both arms up in there and tada, you are all over that bolt. It is harder than it looks and don't over think it. Just get at it and do it. Seriously. I am on my 5th set of headlights and can swap a set in 20 minutes or less.

Now, the fitability and correct size of the aftermarket one piece lights is another story. They usually suck and stick out on the sides. That has nothing to do with the bolts, has everything to do with the fact that they are cheaply produced.

That's why I like my euro-style two-piece lenses.

Look what I got as a reply to my email from the place where I bought my set of headlights...

"Hello,

Here is the information I received from our distributor –

“The customer has to remove the bumper to install them, that’s usually how it is with trucks or newer cars. But yes the customer will have to remove the front bumper to install, possibly just the bumper skin if that applies to the vehicle, but in any case the space is needed to clear and get the brackets in.”"

Woopidoo...
