Question Multiple misfires with code P0153

I have a 2003 Durango. 2WD with a 5.9L. It recently started running rough at idle and low rpm's. Checked the error codes and saw P0300, P0308 and P0153. This started about 2 weeks after I changed plugs and wires. I checked the plugs, and all 4 on the driver's side were fine, but all 4 on the passenger side were black with carbon deposit.

I replaced the o2 sensor on the right side and plugs on the right side. Still have the same problem. Guy at the auto parts store says the truck has 6 o2 sensors. Doesn't sound right to me.

Could anyone tell me where else to look before I take it into the garage? Thanks!!

A 5.9L should have 2. One before the CAT and one After the CAT.

Some had one on each side before the CAT and still one after the CAT.

P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire
P0308 Cylinder #8 Misfire
P0153 2/1 02 Sens Slow Response

It sounds like your model might have a O2 sensor on the passenger side like the second suggestion and it could be bad. Try to pull out the sensor and heat the end of it with a torch and burn off the carbon (that will turn orange) and reinstall the sensor first.

Thanks for you replies. I replaced the O2 sensor with a brand new one. Still have the same problem. Thoughts?
