Information is wisdom. Free wisdom is available and also learned on this site, but you need an ear and also lend one as well for it to work.

I can tell you from my mistake, when replacing that regulator the window is attached to the regulator trolley by a clip and some screws on the window itself. If this piece (window clip) comes off don't toss it like I did. Keep it cause you will need it on the new one. Im still without the clip and my window doesn't close all the way. Likes 1/4 inch. Any suggestions short of replacing the window.

Rams and D's are very close alike if I remember right?

The Junk yard is the place to go. If you have several ones near by call them and ask if they have any D's around. If they say yes then make note of it. I believe any clip off a D will work maybe even iff it is off a truck?
