Passenger Power window
I have a 99 Dodge Durango and the passenger power window suddenly stopped working yesterday (of course it is in the down position and we have been having rain). All the other 3 windows are working fine. I cannot get the passenger window to go up from either the driver side control panel or on the passenger door control panel. Has anyone had this happen before? Could it be a fuse? Any other suggestions? I would appreciate any comments if you have had experience with this problem.
This happened to me just yesterday and I just had to replace the window motor. It is easier to replace the motor and regulator on these though and getting it should be about 91.00 with tax give or take a few cents. It'll take about 5 minutes to replace too. It is that easy.
You could try to disconnect the harness and jump a hot and ground to it ans see if it rolls up. If it does then the issue is the drivers side control switch. If it doesn't go anywhere then try to replace the resistor or motor assembly, and/or replace the hardware if broken.
^^ But if there is an issue with the main panel, neither switch may work. That's the reason for throwing 12v directly to the motor. Long shot, but a proper way to diagnose to keep from throwing $$$ at the problem.
I had the same thing happen to my 99 dango. Bought a used regulator 00 to replace it (not the same) while I had the old one out in my hand, I tried it and started working. Now I have a 00 regulator I don't need,any takers?

just had this happen for the second time, first was on the drivers door, second on the rear passenger... think simple first... if you can get ahold of the glass itself, try lifting it by hand, if it moves up and down by hand then you need to replace the regulator track assembly. (the window is cable driven, there is a small plastic clip that holds the two cable ends in place... well, its plastic and it breaks.) Of coarse you can not buy the plastic piece by itself cause that would be to easy. RockAuto.com has the part for under $100 and if you are half mechanicaly inclined you can change it in uder 30 mins.

Also because there is diodes in the master switch that offset the other windows. This means you have to diagnose the widow motor it's self without feed back from the switches. If the window works, then it is a switch issue or wiring issue. If it doesn't the switch is good and it's a motor/regulator/hardware issue.
the reason that the master switch is the most likely culprit is because all the signals for the window motors come through the drivers door (there is a lockout switch on that panel) if that panel is busted the signal cant be generated by the other switches (the panel just sends a +12v signal to one side of the motor depending on which way you push the switch, but before the source of the +12v goes to the individual doors it runs through the drivers door switch panel in order to allow the driver to lock out window controls)
