Default Trans Temp Light.....

My 2000 durango has been leaking fluid for a while now...Can't find the leak kinda stopped trying...But I do make sure the fluid levels are where they should be...But now they trans temp light keeps coming on...Just for a second and not every time I drive the car....Why is it doing this??

Could be a short in the harness and that might be where it is leaking. Take it in and have someone look at it and find out if it is the harness or what and fix the leak. Also make sure you are properly checking the fluid in neutral and at normal operating temperature with the motor running.
