Does anybody know where I could get the following part kit. 05019089AA The part kit is shims for the cmp sensor. Some vehicles that have a p1391 have too small of a air gap between the cmp and the tone wheel which causes a check engine light to come on. The fix is to put a shim inbetween the head and sensor to increase the air gap. But I can't find the part kit to buy?

 

I found out that the part is discontinued, they have a new spacer with a part number 5252229. Does any body know how thick this spacer is, could I go buy a washer the same thickness and use that.

 

When you transfer old sensors into a new engine how do you measure the air gap of the ckp,cmp to make sure the gap is set correctly.
