Just Clueless, need help?
Hello to everyone.
Ok, first I have a 2003 Dodge Durango 4.7 V8, 4wd. I few weeks back we were heading to a birthday party on the highway doing around 65-70. The vehicle started to shake, I pulled over to the side of the road( it felt like a tire problem the way it was shaking). So I jumped right out and looked over the tires, until I noticed the vehicle itself shaking. Jumped back in and the car was running around 500rpms and shaking, so I tried to give it a little gas and the pedal got no response, so I shut the car off. Tried to start it, and it cranks, maybe goes up to 250rpms or so for a second, and goes to zero when I stop cranking.
So I had it towed back to my house, and took a trip to the auto parts store. I bought the whole get up. Oh by the way, 115k miles on it. Anyways, I got new...
-plugs
-crank sensor
-cam sensor
-pcv valve
-oil and filter
-air filter
-idle air valve
So I went home, installed everything, changed out the oil which had just been done about a thousand miles or so ago. Try to start her up, and she does the same thing. Reset the PCM, try to start her and she runs at about 500rpms, until I shut the car off. And the car shakes while running. A friend of mine who is a mechanic says "brake booster", so I go buy one and install it, and still the same. I hooked up code tester, and it pulls nothing, says "no codes found". But if you turn the key to the on position, after all the lights do their thing, the check engine light stays on and it blinks. Does anyone have any ideas of what to look at next??
Has even pressure in all 8 cylinders, has spark on all 8 coils, im lost. Any help would be great, thanks.

what kind of plugs did you use?(you should be using copper core champion plugs ONLY) did you gap the plugs yourself? (.040 always check for yourself), check for a vacuum leak,
and btw, when the key is on and the engine off the CEL WILL be on no matter what, mine also blinks a couple times after turning the key to on.
