Default Quick help on differential

So, I've got a quick question...In the glove box it says I have 3.55 gears and also a corporate 9. (I'm guessing that is 9.25) and an anti spin differential. Now is anti spin the same as a limited slip? Or is it just an open diff? Now if it is a limited slip, there might be an issue because every once in a while when turning sharply in lots, there is a rubbing/humming kind of sound that seems like it is from the rear. Now a couple years back, the rear fluid was changed at a shop when the axle seal went out and if my car needs it idk if they put in the friction modifier. I just want to know if I have limited slip and if this could be the reason for the noise?

My guess would be 9¼ as well. Lift both tires off the ground, turn one, if the other tire goes in the same direction, you are LS and the modifier is needed.

anti-spin is Chrysler motors speak for limited slip, corporate 9 = 9.25 rear axle, his procedure for checking if the LS is working is correct

Ok, good to know, well when I get back from my short trip, I will def be checking this and most likely changing the fluid and adding the modifier as needed.

Thanks.
