I saw about a 10 F degree drop after doing mine. You can pick up the foam at a Home Depot or other and wrap every few inches with electrical tape. Remember you are only doing the low side line.

Good info on the cold line wrap. I live in North Carolina and it has been HOTTTT! here. I will try wrap because my A/C is not performing very well.My Question to you all is I get very little air flow from the two vents at both ends of the dash.(next to driver/passenger windows). Could the cabin air filter cause this and how do you change it?

I'm in Clayton, NC and I know what u mean. its been a Hot one! IIRC, our D's don't have a cabin filter.

NEGATIVE CABIN FILTER.... I am not sure there is much you can do.... about the airflow...I think the design is to take most of the cool air to the center vents. I thin it is just ducting... sorry.

no cabin air filter in these trucks, and the very outside vents do NOT blow as strong as the center ones, its just the way it is, unfortunately
