Exclamation need new TIEROD **please help** tire bald on edge

hello everyone, you guys helped me many times in the past i hope i can get some good advise here. im having a problem with my tie rod.

im not sure which side is messed up on my 2001 dodge durango sport, i just know my front right passenger tire is going bald on just the edge, and when im driving it pulls to the right.

im looking on ebay to buy a replacement because i have a friend who replaced these before so hes going to help me. should i buy two new tie rods for both left and right sides? or do i need just one side? even though the wear is on the right tire it looks like the left tierod is messed up, i really dont know nothing about this or what to look for, just the one side looks more compressed then the other.

also i am looking at this set on ebay, do you think the quality of ebays product is lower then if i were to go buy this at a store or have a mechanic do this for me?

heres what im thinking about buying

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300457405732

item number 300457405732

do you think that is good?? i just dont want to buy this and find out the quality is bad and it breaks a month later..

thanks for your time, and suggestions will help because im not good with this stuff.

Do your self a favor. Never trust parts that can make or break your life on eBay purchases. No brakes, no BJs, no TREs.

Go to a local parts shop and source Moog TREs for your setup. Done.

ROTFLMAO!

I posted above before I went and looked at your eBay link. They say within the ad:

"Do you really want to take a chance with cheap chassis parts to save a few dollars or do you want to do the job once and do it right? We only sell proven, quality parts and stand behind our product."

Then proceed to never mention the brand or make or manufacturer. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and shiats like a duck... its a duck. Run away from these guys fast. Buy local. Buy Moog. Nuff-said.

ok i will ask local for a tie rod, what is moog? a brand name?

also i need to get my breaks fixed, i keep having to put break fluid in, so i got a leak in my line somewhere right? or at the master cylinder could it be leaking? someone told me to look under my car and the tires and see if i can see break fluid leaking out, unfortunately its been raining here the past week everyday i havent had a chance to see. i wish break fluid wasnt clear

Yes, it is a brand name. Usually Moog is what you want as aftermarket anytime you are replacing suspension parts. They are the defacto standard 'best' choice.

Yes Moog is a brand name.

If you are putting in brake fluid in like that then you have a leak some where. Find it and I would not drive it until I found it.
