but your best bet would be to get a new one from ebay, they will program it to your vin and other options and usually a lifetime warranty so you will be all set

It should work but you would need to have it flashed before installation as long as the donor trucks PCM was out of a 5.9L motor same as yours because a 4.7L PCM will not interchange with a 5.9L, 3.9L, or 5.2L.
