no it will run somewhere outside the airbox to a lever that controls the blend door,just have to follow it

ok now i've had it with durango a/c
two new compressors both expansion valves replaced and system vacummed and recharged to proper 2.44 lbs and they said the pressures are correct high side and low i've bybassed the heater core and i'm still only getting 70 to 72 degree air coming form the vents can anyone help with some definitive answers on what could be the problem

you could always try washing out your condensor , spray some degreaser on it and wash it out with a water hose only, no pressure washer as u will damage the fins. bugs get clogged up in there and can cause it not to get as cold as it should. other than that if the pressures and freon capacity is correct i dont know . another thing if u havent tried it , drive it down the road with the thermometer in the vents and see if it gets colder, some systems will not get cold idling.
