there are no struts on these trucks FYI, they are built around torsion bars (4x4, coil springs for 4x2) and shocks, and this is the first time i have heard of them causing tire wear. . .

i donno what your talking about i walked up to autozone and bought struts for my durango and i just put them in. the old struts were done, when i pushed down on them they didnt come back up, the new ones did. want me to take pics?

from the struts going bad they made the sway links go bad, they were destroyed the bushings were not even there pretty much, they wore all off

please take pictures, bc you have SHOCKS on that truck, not struts, if the guy at the autoparts store didnt know the difference im sorry, but you did NOT buy struts for one of these trucks.

for the record, this is a strut

and THIS is the shock you bought if your truck is a 4x2 (not necessarily this brand, but should look similar)

and THIS is the shock you bought if you have a 4x4

I would really like to know how one can look at the tie rods and they look ok?

Sway bar links simply wear out just like anything else.

Agreed,

To accuratly diagnose a tie rood end without excessive play you have to use a dial indicator.
