Thumbs up durango alternator interchange

As i keep on working on my system in my durango i have installed a my 1500 rms sub all wires and now have just got the matching 1500rms mono black amp (really about 2000 if i can drop it down to 1 ohm but i dont think it can be done with out another 15)

anyways when the sub hits at idle my volts drop down to somewhere round 11 12. i was wondering if there is another amp from a different model that sits around 160-180 i know the stick is 130 something.

Any info is greatly appreciated

I will go that rout if i have to but i have been hooking up cars for awhile now and have found that most cars have a alternator that you can take off of a different model from the yard and save money

I don't know of one that is over the 136 amp OEM. There is one or two places that make a 160 AMP I have seen somewhere on here (possibly Indy's link.....)

Were techs not radio fanatics. We lay out the clear hard facts but hey can someone do a better part, well sure so thanks for the link.

*EDIT*

Your link only has 3.7L (which they don't make) and 4.7L engines and that's it but thanks anyway. https://www.dcpowerinc.com/alternato...lternator.html
