1st, Is the full size spare tire suppose to be a steeli or the same as the 4 stock wheels?

2nd where can i find an small dougnut spare that will fit the truck, reason i ask is i would like to lose an bit of weight, links would be appreciated.

3rd, is 45 psi to much for the fac. spare, it says on the side wall max 44psi. Thanks!

1, the full size spare should have a steel rim (mine does, but i have seen people with an alloy spare too, so either is possible)

2, dont bother, if you get a flat you want the full size spare as it is better for the drivetrain in the long run (especially in the winter if you have a 4x4)

3, i wouldnt worry about 1psi over, just carry a pressure gauge and let it out to be even with the others if you ever need to use the spare.

thanks, im still would like to consider an donut though as i rarely go any where farther then what i could walk easily and if i was to i would just throw the full size back on or in the trunk.

I noticed after i took out the spare the back sit an bit higher, atleast it looked this way, and i measured the wheel gap from the rear and front and the rear was about an half an inch higher

the scissor jack is easy to work, just turn the end piece w/ the hole in it with the hooked pole, one dierction will be up, the other down.

and i believe the back of the truck SHOULD be higher than the front by a little bit

The full size spare should be at 35 PSI unless it is a donut.
