Default Trans taking a dump?

Here are all of my documented symptoms 2001 durango slt 4.7l Awd strange i know but my 4.7l is awd with the 45rfe trans.

Dodge Durango transmission issues

1.Not always but sometimes the transmission engages harshly when going from park to drive.
2.When going up a steep incline the transmission is hesitant to downshift to give me more power. I press down further on the gas pedal yet the transmission doesn’t shift. At one point I had the pedal to the floor and it wouldn’t down shift. I have to go up and down with the gas pedal and then it shifts and gives me way more power then I need. Ex. Going uphill and I needed to pass a semi because the lanes were merging so I step on the gas and nothing happens the trans isn’t downshifting and im barely going any faster… wtf?
3.When going about 10 mph in second gear if you lightly press on the gas and then let go the transmission seems to disengage harshly you can feel it jerk.
4.When engine is first started during a cold night,(not always just sometimes) I drive and then when I reach a stop sign I brake and stop and the rpms drop and the engine seems like it wants to stall as soon as I let go of the brake the car speeds up by itself like the transmission didn’t disengage.

is there one thing that might be going bad? or is the trans in general just slowly falling apart? trans fluid is full so its nothing to do with low fluid. and the fluid is still pink. any suggestions? should i just take it in for a routine trans service?

Our 4.7s don't have bands so we can rule that out. +1 on the tranny fluid change. Did you pop any codes? Could be the TCM...

Replace BOTH filters and use ATF+4 to top it off (about 6-8 quarts).
