Question Remote door locks

I have a 2003 Durango SLT .. The door remotes stoped working. I changed the batterys and they still don't work. when I push the lock or unlock when i set in the car and the dome lights are on they will flicker a little. So it makes me beleave the remotes are working. Is there some kind of way to reset the unit in the car that makes the doors lock? Or is this a common problem with an easy fix?? Thanks for any help..

There is also a type of reset that turns on and off the horn that you could try. I don't remember how to do it for different years but you can look it up in your owners manual.

Also here is an alarm reset for the OEM system. If you have an aftermarket system you will need to take it to the alarm service station.

DO NOT USE THE KEY FOB WHILE DOING THIS.

This is how to complete a full reset of the alarm.

Hope it fixes the issue!
