Default Tranny wont shift into o/d...help my mpg's!!!

1999 Durango 5.9 4x4 transmission will not shift into o/d. I read hydrashockers article on tranny diagnosis and it said it could be a number of things. Does anyone know where to find the o/d fuse and and the shift solenoids? This is my first dodge and i know where NOTHING is, so any lay persons directions would be greatly appreciated. I recently purchased this vehicle and i am trying to assess the mechanical condition (do i need a simple fuse or solenoid....or a new tranny) Thanks again.

The PCM controls the overdrive circuit. You could have a bad 3/4 shift solenoid or the seals for the overdrive piston is not applying the clutches. Need to ck for codes and have a scanner that can tell you what gear the transmission is in when driving.
