Quick poll... How many miles does your truck have on it? I'm just curious how many miles people are getting out of their Durangos engines. I have 153k on my 02 5.9L. It's starting to use oil, no leaks, but still seems very strong and idles smoothly.

 

im only at 95k on my 02, but my 98 dakota had over 200k on it (3.9 v6, but same engine as the 5.2/5.9 with two cylinders missing) these trucks are good for over 200k if properly maintained, i believe we have at least one member on here w/ well over 200 on his truck

 

I've got 235000 on my 98 5.2. Still runs like new.

Just hit 137,000 the other day

 

183,000 km (114,000 miles)

 

134,000 on my '98 5.9

 

114,000 on my "98" 5.2 I put all but 400 miles on it. Uses about half a quart every 5000 miles and no leaks. I do love the D

 

98 Durango SLT 5.9 and 135.5k miles

 

2001 durango slt 95k miles runs like a champ!
