Mine is doing the same thing. Just started about a week ago and comes and goes. Already replaced the IAC and that did not help. I know I need a new battery and didn't think that would cause such problem but will replace it soon. Any luck with yours?

Yeah, our Ds are very finicky about having the right voltage going into the PCM to have the truck function properly. Switch out the battery and tell us what happened.

Mine has not done it again. I have not replaced the IAC yet (I know, I know but my truck says "buy this part" and my wallet says "Im on empty right now" ~ the part is about $50 and its $45 to have it put on for me). I did replace the battery terminal connectors from the flimsy copper ones that were on the truck to heavy duty ones and that immediately made a difference.

Be sure you read the prior replies on this thread which will give you some great advise on what to do next if the IAC and battery replacement dont fix your problem.

I'll try it this weekend. My mechanic also advised me about this but was I was trying to get all the goodie out of it before winter really killed it.
