Default 99 with ABS, Brake & Check Engine Lights on.

My 99 Durango is giving me a head ach. I went to turn it on one moring and my ABS & Check Engine Light was on. Also my speo would not show any speed under 55mph. The next day the check engine light turned on. I figured it was a speed sensor. I took it to auto zone the next day and they red the obd and got only 1 error code for the vss. I went in and ask how much the sensor was and he said 17.99 That was a great price and a easy fix. That never happens. Went home put the speed sensor in the trans. Back to square one. That was the wrong sensor. I have see online that there is a Front R, Front L & Rear wheel speed sensor. Does anyone know how to test any of them or if it is one of these 3 just from my problems?

Thanks

sounds to me like the its the rear wheel speed sensor (should be on top of the rear differential), this is what controls the speedometer on the low end (up to 15 or 25), however, im sure if its out it will affect the speedo reading all the way up
