So you have regular Champion Copper spark plugs in it now?

Also Bosch plug wires suck, get a pair of Mopar, Mopar Performance, or MSD 8.5mm wires. Look here under Tune Up: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...wers-faqs.html

Do you notice any "ping" on the motor?

Yes I do have the Champions in place now, as of Saturday I replaced the Bosch Plugs. I get to wait til next payday to try new wires, I had to fix 2 trucks on this pay check so had half the money lol.
I did get the alternator replaced last night and the electrical issue seems to be all fixed. I didnt seem to get the issues from low rpms either last night but testing in Driveway is not a good test for this. Tomorrow I go pick my son up so I will be able to check it much better then because everytime I get there and leave it idle to wait it shakes pretty bad.
I will keep updating as to the fixes that work for my D until its all working well.

To sum up this thread the Alternator has seemed to help a lot with my D. The 136amp alternator is the factory speced for mine. The Dealer had to have my VIN to verify which I needed. Most of my issues are now gone. I do have a stereo system in the truck but these issues were happening whether it was disconnected and ran for weeks. So to help the D I put 2 1.2farad caps inline so there is not that large hits anymore. Idle has cleared up a lot but still there some. Need to clean air filter still but weather has been horrible so I will work on that soon.
Thanks for the help
