2002 Durango RT Tire Sizes for Stock Wheels
Ok this is driving me bonkers trying to dig up information about what tires sizes will fit on the stock 17" wheels.
I'm due for new tires but the stock 275/60/17 is such an oddball size I'm trying to see if any other sizes will fit the stock rim. I'm also looking for better winter performance, the 275's are so wide they're horrible in the snow (I'm in Canada btw).
I could only find one reference to the actual stock wheel width online, and it said it was 9" wide, so 17x9 stock wheel size, is this correct?
Cause I found another site which shows the tire sizes that will fit a 9" wheel and it says the range is 235mm-265mm. So how on earth is a 275mm tire fitting on that rim?
Anyway, if someone could list any alternative tire sizes that will fit properly on the stock wheels that'd be great!

the sticker on you door pillar will tell you the stock tire size and rim diameter and width. people put the wrong sizes tires on for several reasons whether its for the looks or to find cheaper tires a 265 65 17 would probably be a good size for you or 245
