2000 rear hatch struts Q
Our hatch struts/supports are beginning to lose their hold open capability. Is there anything that can be done to them to help them work better or do they have to be replaced? If replaced, what is the best source? Thanks!

they probably just need to be replaced, would check out rockauto.com, they tend to have that kind of stuff, not sure where else to look

Advanced auto, as well, i think all parts stores carry those. Maybe even a cheaper way, junk yard. Junk yards are treasure troves of parts like that.

talkin about when he opens his hatch, he clamps some vice-grips to the strut, so it doesnt fall.
