I figured that was what it was on post #2. Glad you found/confirmed the problem.

Don't replace with stocker parts. Will happen again. Instead... Here you go. This will take care of it once and for all.

You sure the oil pressure sending unit isn't leaking. I have seen them leak and still work and they will dump oil pretty quick.

They don't dump oil in the place he's finding his dumped oil at. If you look down the throttle body and it's oily then it's a blown plenum, not oil sending unit.

Invalid URL, all the stars don't help. If you just click the URL Indy gave there's a step by step guide to replacing the plenum on the 5.2. That and the 5.9 are very similar in replacing the plenum.

That's funny... The stars were inserted after I posted the link. It's from a competing Dodge forum. I think the link actually came from the Hughes page anyway.

Yeah it was probably the Dodge Owners Forum. That's where the Hughes page redirected for the install walkthrough.

+1. Everything needed was in the link I provided. No need for another partial post.

White, the 5.2 and the 5.9 share the same beer barrel intake. Same exact process and parts FWIW.

Yeah that's one of the reasons I stick around on this site. There is a lot of knowledgable people here and an abundance of new people every day coming to ask questions.

As for that walkthrough how to replace a plenum, great job. As for the site, I agree with shrp.
