Default door question

i have two questions for you guys i have a 99 durango and the drivers door lock is not working. i am wondering if you guys think my master switch is going bad. the switch will work all door but the drivers door for the locks. the reason i am trying to get this fixed is so i can put my remote start on the truck.

my dashlight for the fourwheel drive does not light up when in four wheel drive.

any help will be good

I have replaced the driver side window three times on mine. Right now it does not work and I just noticed the lock occassionally does not catch when I use the remote.
Seems to be a power issue on mine.
This is one thing I am taking my truck to get fixed for...

Use a Multi-Meter and see if the switch is bad or the motor is bad, or bad connections.

You could have a bad bulb or a bad Transfer Case Switch (which the case switch is most likey the issue). It is located by the linkage of the T-case, or above it depending on your T-case for the 1999.
