4 wheel drive help please

Exclamation 4 wheel drive help please

ok guys i was driving home in 4 wheel drive due to nast weather an all of a sudden it went out of 4 wheel drive well today i climbed under and noticed the linkage came apart the rubber garments had worn out my question is i can manually shift it by crawling under but can only go forward 1 click or back 1 click which way do i need to go to put in 4 wheel till i fix it?.....i also have a picture i believe i am missing a part cause i cant get the two to line up any help will be greatly appericated

you should be able to shift it by hand if you go under there and move the lever, and it looks to me like the t-case and the lever inside the cab are just in different 'gears' so to speak for the t-case (one is in 2wd and one is in 4hi for example), if the t-case is in 2wd the part on the case should only move in one direction.

yes i can shifit it by hand but can only go 1 click foward or 1 click backwards on the t case which way do i got to put in 4 wheel high? also any idea wut part i need to fix>?
