Dorman is a supplier to some of the OEM's and a good source of direct fit parts. The reason that they have no prices listed is that they do not sell directly to consumers. If you take the Dorman part number to your local auto parts store they should be able to order it for you. In fact, at the bottom there is a "Where to Buy" link that will list the stores near you that sell their parts. There are 36 places near me

www.dodgeparts.com has them listed for $18.60/ea, so you may want to try them. It's listed under front suspension>suspension components>bumper and they call it "Lower Back, Front". It sounds funny, but the illustration shows it's the correct part.

@EWR: I concur with SS, the pic doesn't seem right. **Squawk!!!** IIRC, the ones from the dealer were orange in color and had a sorta triangular shaped top. Personally, I'd go to the dealer for the bump/jounce stops.

@Hydra: Hey buddy?... Just wonderin' Why'd you link this thread in your post?...

I ordered a pair from JEGS. They were $16.99 each. I hope to be getting them sometime next week and I'll post what I find as far as fit and finish.

Ok, well the bump stops I got from JEGS were TOO SMALL. Dorman part # 905-205 DOES NOT WORK on my 2001 D. All over the internet it says that it will work. Even JEGS! But don't believe it! I wanted to get some after market ones from Energy Suspension or Daystar but they don't have anything unless you want to modify a universal part. I thought about taking the cup off and using one that bolts on but that's a no-go as well. The cup is welded on and it looks like a P.I.T.A. to do.

So.....I went to the dealer.

Just thought I'd pass this along so others don't make the same mistake. Now I gotta drive the truck for a day and 1/2 on new shocks till the new ones come in. Oh, well, live and learn.

Yeah they are giving me a refund, no problem. The guy I talked to at JEGS was very cool. He even went online to different companies other than JEGS trying to help me locate bump stops that would fit (we didn't find any other that ones I'd have to modify) but the fact that he took the time to help me even if that meant going with the competition says something. All I gotta do is ship them back so even with the parts not fitting, good experience with JEGS.

So I drop in to the dealership to pick up the "golden" bump stops that no one else carries and what does the parts guy hand me..................none other than the SAME KIND I JUST RETURNED TO JEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turns out there are 2 different kinds. The only way to tell which one to order (besides ordering the wrong one first) is to give them VIN number. I wonder who thought, "Hey, let's change this bump stop so we have a bunch of different ones on the same generation of truck!" Whoever it was, thanks for nothin'!! What a pain in the **** this has been. Another day and 1/2 my wife has to borrow the teenagers' ford to get to work.

OMG!.......Poor wifey!!!!!

Naw, my wifey drives a 2004 Ford Taurus 24V DOHC Sport.....Aside from that, I have never heard of a different type of bump stops. Personally I think taking in the VIN# first is the best idea, however I have seen the Dealer screw up before.......LMAO
