All makers have there issues. I love my gm products and swore I would not own another chrysler after my wifes 2000 sebring convertible which had every problem you can imagine. You see how well that worked out. Some cars are just junk period and I mean the individual cars not whole models cause even yugo had a couple of cars that where reliable.

Now onto the issue grounds would be the first thing I would check after the relay just simply because the relay is easy to check. The grounds seem to make more sense because you have more than one thing quitting at a time.
