its a 2000 with 190,000 miles with 4x4. Just put a new water pump on it two weeks ago. Runs strong. never have a problem in the cold. It has a newer rear end and transmission. A spot of rust on the front bumber and tail gate. Easyly fixable. Little bit along bottom of some of the doors just on the inside. With my stereo in it and all the performance things left on I would like around $5,000. If you give me your phone number I can send you some pics and some more info if you want.

Ouch yeah I agree I'd offer more like 3,000 at the most to be honest with you. It also helps when selling a car to put what engine it has. Rust isn't easily fixable by any means and if it's got a new water pump, rear end, and transmission it sounds like it's had problems or was abused. I'd try craigslist if you're wanting that out of it.

Mines a 2000 with 125k miles, an *** load of mods both engine and body, no rust or body damage and I could get around 6,500 for it if I were lucky.

Lower your asking price a bit and someone will buy it.

KBB value is only like 3,000 even with a 5.9 sorry to tell you. With that many miles good luck!

I agree with widow.

But that all being said kelly blue book values cars for a lot higher than what most people will pay for a used car.

if you go to kelly blue book than it will tell you an excellent condition durango with what yours has is maybe 5 grand but nobodies car is ever really in excellent condition.

3,000 is a better asking price. It hurts man. to think your D is only worth 3,000? Thats why i never wanna lose mine. its worth a lot more to me.

Id have to agree with the group... Most dealers (or stealers) around here are charging anyware from 2500-3000 for around that year D. Only the super crazy lots like the buy here, pay here lots are charging/screwing you more... Theres one "credit fixer" lot that has a 2000 D but they want 10 grand for it thats nuts.....

We have owned it sense about 100,000 miles and it hasnt been abused. The rear end and transmission were done about 50,000 miles ago if that. And noone commented on how i only wanted 5,000 with all my stuff in it. I never said a price with it out. Depending on the rust it can be fixed pretty easy. I just ran kbb on it and for private party in fair conditon it gave me 4,000 for a price. I have seen many Ds on craigslist sell for around 4,000 price range.

Not knocking the price its valued at man. I'm saying most people don't want to spend that much on one. there was a guy who was selling a 2001 D R/T with 146,000 miles for 6k i thought that was kinda steep. it actually was in damn near mint condition too. not a single scratch i could see on the body. wheels in good shape and nice tires. was probably worth more but what can you do?

For example. In ghetto parts of Minneapolis (where i live) some houses are worth 90,000 dollars but only sell for maybe 30,000 because of the neighborhood. Contributing factors like that influence what people will pay. its not about what its worth anymore, its about what people will pay for it.
