In my '00 dually (i believe same interior as your ram) I have a small radioshack brand one that I have mounted in the knee panel to the left of the steering column. I have the handset mounted to the cb radio itself also, pretty discreet spot yet still very convenient.

That's what I'm thinkin about going to. Mine is a full size, and theres nothing wrong with it, but it's just too big for my ram as you know.... They are the same interior.

I have my tailoring brake on the right side under the ash tray (used for change), so I makes a tight fit. I take it out when I'm not using it.

Thinkin about selling it if anyone is interested.

That's the only thing I use my ash tray for too! Also that's where my brake controller is too. What brand is it and could I get a pic and possible price. Send me a pm I might put it in my D. The one I have is an el cheap radioshack brand and is nothing special.

I use the Tekonsha Prodigy P2.

One of the best controllers I've ever used period! It's Proportional! http://www.tekonsha.com/content/prod...1435%20&part=0 You can pick one up at your local RV store for about $100. Then they also make a pig tail harness that will plug directly into the back of the controller and plug directly into your OEM light blue harness up by your E-brake hardware under the dash! That's it, sweet install! Harness 3020-P is like $10 and covers years 1995-2009 of most all Dodge. The P3 is the new age and is really cool, however they didn't have it when I bought mine.....LOL

Uniden radio is a Bearcat PC68LTW. The box says a 78, but you can't see the red blob over the other model because of the flash. It's a really nice kick butt radio and the thing was fully peaked and tuned. I think I paid like $100 plus like $40 for the tune, long ago so I don't remember. Make me an offer. The box is beat up because I held onto it for so long, but the radio still has the plastic on the face plate. Very little used. In fact I was talking to people in Mississippi on a skip and smoked a few good radios with it.....LMFAO..... Anyway, you got to ensure the antennae is tuned before use on this bad boy....LOL

Anyway, I have tried everything with my truck for good reception, it just wont come in. The radio is perfectly fine trust me. It's just my truck, it would drop under 2 SWR's and I have tried all different antennas and setups. I have the Firesik antennae mount http://www.rightchannelradios.com/ho...mp-on-235.html as I special ordered it. I even took my truck to a CB shop and he couldn't even get it under 2 SWR's. It just plain and simple isn't going to do it for some reason! Anyway, I shouldn't run it because of this, and I don't have the room for the big radio, I need a really small one for my install because it just is so tight.
