Default LED interior lighting..

Finally did this, I've been wanting to for atleast a year now, just haven't felt like shelling out the coin to do it.

First start, the rear overhead light. Next spring I'll likely end up putting a 3rd row light in there since it's pretty dark in the third row. I'll cut a hole (gasp) in the 01+ headliner and insert it to the back side of the hump that the 2nd row seat light is mounted to. I planned on doing that when I installed the headliner, I just couldn't bring myself to chop a hole in the perfect headliner. lol.. I didn't take any pictures of this one before I swapped (Forgot actually) so, forgive me… the LED is at least 2x brighter. It was just a cheapy I got at Advance, I'll replace this one later with the same ones I put in the overhead console, as those are 4x brighter, easily)

OEM output on the front seats…

Christmas tree, you can actually see how dim it's in the third row… I'll address that in the spring.

I had the exposure set a little low on this one, made them look incredibly blue…

I like that a lot and have been looking around for a reputable place to get them. Looks like yours turned out exactly as I would like... where did you get them from?

Great pics BTW!

They were just replacements I picked up at the local Autozone/Advance Auto. I had to disgrace myself down the riceburner aisle (with all the stick on fender vents, hood scoops, decals and such) but that's where I got them. Universal and fit a variety of applications.

I wasn't too fond of the price, at $20 a bulb, but, meh. They'll last forever and they look great. Much brighter too.

Nice! Did you replace the bulbs in the stock "push on" ones in the front overhead console as well?

The lights in the front overhead console were Domelitz (Yes, spelled that way) part # 10026303 from Advance Auto. One per push-button light.

The mid row was a bulb was a Type-S 20-LED light part # LM50657-60-6 from Autozone.

Hope this helps.

I just replaced my interior lights this week with LED's. The front maps were kind of a pain. The LED's weren't 567 lamps with the hoops on the end, they were just festoon style and I had to solder them in. Looks good, though they weren't as easy as doing my F-150, it was well worth the time.

Ebay link, but mine were less than $3 a pair.
