Johnny I'd recommend starting a new thread so some more people get a chance to look at it and doesn't get overlooked.

As for the E3 plugs, I wouldn't recommend anything except Champion Copper, or Champion Iridium. Gap them suckers to .040 also!

Personally I'm a "fan" of a mechanical fan versus electric for the radiator fan, but another option is doing what I did and add a VSC Flex-A-Lite fan. Do some looking into it and basically what it is, it had a thermostat and VSC (Variable Speed Control) and automatically speeds up the higher the temperature.

For programmers I use a SuperChips power programmer, costs in the ballpark of $250, and I love it. Not sure if you tow, but that sucker saves my fuel economy when I'm towing, or when I'm just strolling thru the streets m

And at the pump, I topped off and did my math and got 15.7mpgs. I did all hwy driving on that tank of gas. I don't have the luxurious overhead decoration in my D, just courtsey lights.
I watch everything as previous posts indicate. Use the GPS etc. and have found speedo error as per gps is 2mph. high. I had emergency service call,( I do heating ) 40 miles away 38 interstate. I ran 68mph interstate and averaged asper GPS 49.2 overall on the way to the call. I ran my normal 60 to 65 on the way back. I did not fill when I got out of the mountains asn usual but did wnen back to town. I averaged 17.3 overall on that one. I now am keeping a spreadsheet on my three, 89 dak 3.9,94 dak 5.2 and 2002 Ford van loaded heavy. Van sucks it. Actually will drop to 8.9 if I let it warm up. 94 Dak is averaging flat out 18.4, 89 3.9 is overall averaging 19.2. I can affect the mileage of the daks. by using mid range but its only 1.7 mpg which I dont think is worth the cost. I use Lucas in the Van and the 94. I use nothing in the 89. I cant complain about the daks but when summer comes and I have to use the van again I will spend double the bucks on gas & that sucks, but the Summer is when I am more profitable so it is a no-brainer. I wish I could get the van to run better. Spent 1200 bucks at ford and it still aint fixed so its just sitting right now.
