Default A/C Condenser Question

After taking a hit in the front end, I am having to replace the radiator and condenser. The aux trans cooler seems to have survived. Hit a smaller car and it came in just under the bumper and took out the valance.

My question is how to tell the difference between the parallel flow condenser and the serpentine. Are they interchangeable? The pics online don't provide enough clarity and the guys at the local parts house don't seem to be able to tell me. They don't have either in stock, so I can't do a visual on it.

Thanks for the help!

Parallel Flow Condensers are just a little more efficent. http://www.ackits.com/c/Parallel/Par...+Aluminum.html

I would just install the OEM version, www.rockauto.com has one with a shroud for $110 SPECTRA PREMIUM Part # 74798

The condenser lines appear to attach with a type of push together connector. Are special tools required to take this connection apart and if so, can anyone put me in the right direction to acquire them?

No special tool that I know of, but there is an O ring inside of there. Remember to replace and lubricate it.
