Default transmission question?

I was doing some reaserch but dint find anything that matched. I was wondering if the 46re off the dodge ram 1500 4x4 will fit on a 99 durango with out any problems or are there different electrical connectors on there. any information would be great. thanks

First question is, is the Durango 4x4 and what year is the Ram? Assuming it is 4x4 and the same year, as long as it has the same transfer case, things should line up.

To my knowledge all 46RE trans have the same dimensions, as long as you have the same engine family your good to go...

There are electrical differences in the years.

This is true of some electrical differences... Starting in 2000 a new gov pressure sensor was introduced and it is not compatible with 99 back control modules....
