Default Front turn signals not working.

Hi all, need some help in figuring this out. My front turn signals are not working.

A little back story. I got my Durango from my brother. He wasn't carefull when installing a new heater core. As a result the hazard switch on the steering column was broken. At first only the front left turn signal was not working. I attributed this to the broken hazard switch, but now both of the front turn signals do not work.

I have replaced the turn signal assembly piece with a used one I got from the junkyard. This did not fix the problem. All of the bulbs are brand new and the fuses are ok. All of the bulbs light up when headlights are on, except the turn signals.

I am at a lost now. Any help, is appreciated.

Thanks.

You are going to have to down load the Service Manual and start tracing for shorts. Look in the Durango folder and download the 1998 version: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=c...589d1986ba#1,1
