Yes I have all ready done allottt kol getting very spendy lol thank god for yalls help lol a shop would charge me an arm and a.leg lol so is there a way to chrck and see if.the tps is bad ? This d has been a huge pita!!! But when I do get it done should be a great rig for me and my 2 kids thanks for all the help !

 

I've only checked the output from the TPS and not resistance.


With the fluctuations it could very well be the fuel pump. You would need to drop the pump to check the connections. If you do that you might as well put a new one in.

Have you checked the fuel pump pressure?

 

Check all your grounds too this is just a first check anytime anything electrical gets weird.

 

I cant even get it to start now went and bought a cps and I was goin to start it before I put it in and it wont even fire up now it sounds like it dont have spark .. Tried switchin out the auto shutdown fuse and still nothing :/ any ideas

 

checked for spark and i have nothin what ever just went out completly do you think this ... what ever it is could have been the cause of the dieing in the first place ?? i swithched out both asd relays and didnt work.. still no spark at all

Is your distributor sending a spark to any of the outputs?

 

i pulled 4 wires and held them to a ground and nothing it dont even try to sputter or anything... should i check all 8 of the wires and see if any are getting spark ? what could this be? do distributors just go bad all the sudden like that ??

 

They can, and trust me I've seen weirder. Whens the last time the cap and rotor got replaced? Also yes, check all 8.

 

i dont no when the last time the cap and rotor has been changed i just bought the durango about 2 weeks ago and was havin the prob with it running fine cold and backfireing and running like crap warm.. now all the sudden it wont even fire up ill go out right now and see if im getting any spark to any of them.. should i go agead and throw throw the cps in it or no ?? thanks again ill be back on in like 30 min after i go see if im getting spark any where..


HYDRASHOCKER i checked fp and it sprays out fine i dont have a pg to check it but i am getting fuel just no spark now :/ thanks for the suggestions

 

no spark to any of the wires going to the spark plugs plugs look ok ... and the plugs were wet and smelled like fuel so its getting fuel just no spark ... all of the sudden Thats sooooo crazy all the sudden its not getting spark .. had this happen to me in my gf honda civic and it ended up being the main relay ... does dodge have any thing else besides the 2 asd relays ??
