Default Inner / Out Tie rod

Hi Y'all 5.9L Durango just finished replacing my inner and outer tie rods driverside. Unbelivibly it went off without a hitch ! ....... Untill, I drove it around and besides a slight alignment everythings fine but when I parked a noticed there was a slight odor.
I'm not really sure if I should be concerned or will tis fade away as it breaks itself in ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

There should be not odor at all. Most likely you touched something with your greasy hands that gets hot and that is causing the odor. Don't worry about it....IMHO

No, there should be no odors or anything after doing tie rods. Check under it and see if there's something stuck to the exhaust maybe or a fluid leaking. What does it smell like exactly?
